He earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific Dental School, his undergraduate alma mater, and later updated his clinical skills at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. This institute is regarded as the nation’s premier post-graduate institution for the development of cosmetic and restorative skills. He is also a member of numerous reputable professional organizations, including the American Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara County Dental Society.

Dr. Carey Weatherholt is committed to giving back to the community. He serves on the board of directors of Via Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities. He is also a member of the administrative council of the San Jose RotaCare Free medical clinic, an all-volunteer center that offers free medical treatment to those in need.

Dr. Weatherholt and his wife, Kellie, have two children—Austin, 9, and Jalene, 6.
